Firearms Training Near Columbus, Ohio at Arrow Concepts Training Center

Most shooting ranges are designed around restrictions.
No drawing from the holster. No movement. No shooting from unconventional positions. No low-light training. No night vision. No rapid fire. Stay behind the firing line, shoot your target, pack your gear, and go home.
Arrow Concepts Training Center was built around a different idea.
Located in Saint Louisville, Ohio, approximately 45 miles from Columbus, Arrow Concepts Training Center (ACTC) is a private outdoor firearms training facility built for shooters who want the freedom, space, and resources to develop their skills beyond what a conventional range allows.

With seven dedicated training bays, Known Distance (KD) and Unknown Distance (UKD) ranges, and a purpose-built long-range shooting platform unlike anything you’ll find at a conventional range, ACTC provides an environment where shooters can push their performance, identify where their skills begin to break down, make corrections, and continue developing.
Draw from concealment. Shoot on the move. Work from different positions. Train in low light and under night vision. Develop skills at distance. Test your equipment and determine whether your fundamentals hold up as you introduce speed, movement, distance, and complexity.

Think less of a traditional gun club and more of a dedicated firearms training facility.
This is the kind of place we wanted to train, so it’s the kind of place we built.
A Facility Built for Training
Arrow Concepts was designed around one fundamental principle: the facility should expand what you’re capable of training—not limit it.

Across seven dedicated training bays, members have the ability to reserve private training space, draw from IWB or OWB holsters, shoot on the move, work from unconventional positions, train in low light, use night vision, and engage static and reactive steel.

That freedom becomes increasingly important as a shooter develops.
You can practice basic fundamentals almost anywhere. Eventually, however, the limitations of the facility become limitations on your development. When you begin incorporating movement, positional shooting, low-light work, equipment validation, transitions, or greater levels of speed and complexity, a conventional shooting range can only take you so far.
ACTC gives our students and members the flexibility to build their training environment around the skill they are trying to develop—not the restrictions of the range.

Long-Range Training: KD, UKD, and a Purpose-Built Shooting Platform
ACTC isn’t limited to pistol and carbine bays.
Our long-range facility expands the training environment into both Known Distance (KD) and Unknown Distance (UKD) shooting, allowing shooters to develop the skills required to perform beyond traditional short-range engagements.
The facility also features a purpose-built elevated long-range shooting platform designed to create training opportunities that simply aren’t available on a traditional flat range.
That matters because long-range shooting isn’t just about hitting a target farther away. It requires a deeper understanding of your equipment, data, environmental conditions, positional stability, target identification, and your own capabilities behind the rifle.
Whether you’re developing foundational scoped-carbine skills or working toward greater proficiency at distance, ACTC gives you an environment where those skills can actually be tested.
How Arrow Concepts Fits Into Achilles Heel Tactical Training
Our approach at Achilles Heel Tactical is built around education, accountability, and measurable performance.
We don’t want students leaving an AHT course with nothing more than a collection of drills. We want them to understand what they’re doing, recognize where performance is breaking down, and develop a repeatable process for making corrections.
That philosophy applies across our entire curriculum.
Can you identify your own mistakes? Can you diagnose why they happened? Can you make the necessary correction without an instructor standing over your shoulder? Can you maintain your fundamentals as speed, distance, movement, or complexity increases?
Ultimately, that is where training has to lead.
An instructor can provide the framework, coaching, standards, and feedback. At some point, however, you have to take responsibility for your own development.
We can give you the tools. You still have to put in the work.
Arrow Concepts gives you a place to do it.
Training Beyond the Class
You do not need an Arrow Concepts membership to attend an eligible Achilles Heel Tactical course or event hosted at the facility.
Membership is for shooters who want to continue the work after class is over.
ACTC members can reserve private training bays and independently develop the skills they’ve learned through formal instruction. Instead of constantly modifying your practice around the restrictions of a conventional range, you have access to an environment specifically designed for purposeful firearms training.
Current membership options include:
Annual Membership — $1,800/year
Monthly Membership — $200/month with a 12-month commitment
Out-of-State Membership — $600/year
Corporate Membership — Contact Arrow Concepts for details
Annual, monthly, and out-of-state memberships cover the member, spouse, and children. Annual membership also includes one eligible AHT course.
Membership includes access to static and reactive steel, paper and cardboard targets, a members’ lounge, gym, target storage, and controlled gated access. Members may also bring one named guest per day, subject to the current guest policy and facility availability.
But access to the facility is only part of what you’re joining.
More Than a Place to Shoot
ACTC has developed into a community of people with similar interests, standards, and a common mindset.
These are people who want to become more capable shooters, but who also understand that meaningful training requires discipline, accountability, humility, and a willingness to learn.
There is something different about putting in the work alongside people who are equally committed to improving themselves. You train together. You exchange information. You challenge one another. You hold each other accountable. Over time, many of the relationships built on the range extend well beyond it.
That’s the brotherhood behind Arrow Concepts Training Center.
Being around capable, motivated people raises your own standard. You become a better shooter, but that’s only part of the equation. The discipline, accountability, humility, and willingness to learn required to improve on the range tend to carry into everything else you do.
You’re not simply paying for access to a shooting range.
You’re joining a community built around getting better—and helping the people around you get better with you.
Who Is Arrow Concepts For?
Our students and members include responsibly armed citizens, recreational shooters, competitive shooters, firearms instructors, law enforcement officers, and military personnel.
Experience level matters less than mindset.
We’re looking for people who take safety seriously, train with purpose, are willing to accept coaching, and can be honest about their own performance.
If you’re a newer shooter, that may mean establishing sound fundamentals before poor habits become ingrained. If you’ve been shooting for years, it may mean finally having an environment where you can work on skills your normal range doesn’t permit.
Either way, the objective is the same:
Train with purpose. Measure your performance. Identify your weaknesses. Put in the work required to improve.
