Our Pistol Diagnostics Course is an entry level course designed to build a fundamentally sound foundation with a pistol. This course thoroughly educates students on the shooting fundamentals, pistol set up, efficiency in equipment, effective shooting techniques, and gear considerations. This course lays the foundational framework to build a more confident & proficient shooter.
This course covers:
- fundamentals of shooting pistol
- pistol manipulation- pistol set up (triggers, sights, optics, lights, etc.)
- holster options (placement, IWB/OWB)
- proper draw
- gear & equipment set up
- pistol caliber considerations
- duty/carry ammo considerations
- pistol shooting drills
- reloading fundamentals- stance & posture
- presentat
- importance of grip and bone support
- proper utilization of sight alignment and sight picture
- weapons conditions
- safety conditions
- strong and support side shooting
- common pistol malfunctions
